The Antwerp Arms is dedicated to fostering local creativity by offering artists the opportunity to display their work in our community-focused pub. We do not charge artists to exhibit; instead, we suggest a voluntary donation to support our community volunteering projects. Each exhibition spans around six weeks, providing artists with broad exposure to our patrons and visitors.

How to Exhibit Your Art

Artists interested in exhibiting can apply by emailing admin@antwerparms.co.uk with examples of their work. Please ensure all artwork is suitable for a family-friendly audience.

Current Exhibition - Lesley Ratcliff

Since the 70s I was an abstract expressionist in my heart and will always be.

I use mixed media with concepts and images that inspire me! A still life for example I want to explore and see how far it will surprise me! How it will work with marks, colours, layers and textures exploring the process of the materials. I don’t pr-know how it will be when complete until I feel the conclusion which for an artist is so difficult. I let it take me on a journey not unlike life sometimes happy and every emotion even despair it becomes a type of offspring.

I have just seen a play about the artist Lee Krasner’s life, which as a female artist I so identified with. The female artist seen as lesser artist to the male. During my art history classes at art school in the 70s  I was told of 3 female artists and although 50 years between Lee was born 1908 we have the similar experience!

All items are for sale at £370 each.

Previous Exhibitions

Caroline Rault - People and Things I Like

Step into a world of vibrant colour and joyful connection in People and Things I Like, a new solo exhibition by Tottenham-based artist Caroline Rault.

"Born in Mauritius, I paint what brings me joy — people, places, and everyday moments — using a palette inspired by the tropical landscapes of my childhood: purple mountains, turquoise lagoons, and flashes of red and yellow birds in flight.

Trained in Fine Art at Falmouth College, my work is where two worlds meet — the sun-soaked memories of island life and the dynamic, urban rhythm of Tottenham.

For our 10th birthday we brought together a selection of art from local artists who previously displayed their work at the Antwerp.
